A business that posts once in March and never again looks closed. Lucent is a social media agency of one: David Domingos plans the month, makes the posts, schedules them across the platforms your customers use, and replies to the people who get in touch. You keep the accounts and approve the plan before anything goes out.

Nothing is posted to your accounts without your approval, and the accounts, logins and content stay in your name.

## Is managed social right for you?

Social media earns its keep when customers check you there before they call, or when what you do looks good on a phone screen. It is not the first fix for every business.

### More likely to fit

- Customers look you up on Instagram or Facebook before getting in touch.
- Your work is visual: before and after, products, food, spaces, people.
- You get messages through social and some go unanswered.
- Your accounts exist but have gone quiet.
- You want one consistent voice across every platform.

### May not be the right first spend

- Nobody can find you on Google yet: search usually comes first.
- Your website does not turn visits into enquiries.
- You need enquiries this month: paid search is faster.
- There is nothing new to show or say from month to month.

If search or the website is the bigger leak, the free review will say so before anything is booked.

## What gets fixed first

Five checks run in order. A quiet account with a broken link in the bio loses the enquiry before the content ever gets a chance.

01

### The profile

Name, bio, link, contact button and highlights. The basics a customer checks in the first five seconds.

02

### The audience

Who actually follows you, and whether they are the people who buy.

03

### The content

What has been posted, what landed, and what has gone stale.

04

### The replies

How fast comments and messages are answered, and what happens to the ones that are enquiries.

05

### The link out

Where a follower lands when they tap through, and whether that page asks them to do anything.

The audit can route the next spend to SEO, the website or Meta Ads when social is not the leak.

## How a month runs

01

### Plan

A monthly content plan around what you sell, the season and what customers ask about. You approve it first.

02

### Create

Captions, graphics and short video edited for each platform, from your footage, ours or a creator's.

03

### Schedule and reply

Posts go out at the times your followers are online, and comments and messages get answered.

04

### Review

A monthly look at what reached the business, then next month's plan gets sharper.

## What social media management includes

The work covers the whole month, from the plan to the replies. The exact scope is set out in writing before it starts.

01

### Account and profile audit

Every profile checked and tidied before a single post goes out.

02

### Monthly content plan

Topics, formats and dates for the month, approved by you.

03

### Captions written in your voice

Plain, local and recognisably yours, not generic agency copy.

04

### Graphics and carousels

Built in your brand colours and type, sized for each platform.

05

### Short-form video edits

Reels, Stories and TikTok cuts from the footage available.

06

### Scheduling

Posts queued at the times your followers are most active.

07

### Comment and message replies

Answered within agreed hours, with enquiries passed to you.

08

### Creator and UGC content

Optional creator video through the influencer and UGC service.

09

### Monthly report

What went out, what landed, what came in, and what changes next.

10

### Your accounts, your content

Everything stays in your name, and access ends when the work does.

## Measure what reached the business, not just likes

The report puts enquiries above reach. Likes and followers are reported, but they are not the headline.

- Messages and enquiries that came through social.
- Taps through to your website, phone or booking page.
- Saves, shares and comments on each post.
- Reach and follower change, reported last.

## Social media management questions

What people ask before handing over the passwords.

**Not answered here?** Ask David directly. He replies himself, usually within one working day.

[Ask David](https://lucentdigital.co.uk/contact)

**01 What does social media management include?**

Planning what goes out each month, writing the captions, making or editing the posts, scheduling them, and replying to comments and messages. You approve the plan before anything is posted, and the exact scope is agreed in writing.

**02 Which platforms do you cover?**

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. Most small businesses only need two of them done well, so the plan starts with the ones your customers actually use rather than being everywhere at once.

**03 Do I have to create the content myself?**

No. We can work from photos and clips you send, film short pieces with you, or bring in creators through the influencer and UGC service. Many clients send a handful of phone videos a month and we turn them into finished posts.

**04 Will you post without asking me?**

No. You see the month's plan and the posts before they go out. Some clients later approve the plan and let the day-to-day run, but that is always your call.

**05 Do you reply to comments and messages?**

Yes, within the hours agreed. Questions get answered, and anything that looks like an enquiry is passed straight to you so a real job is never left sitting in an inbox.

**06 How is this different from Meta Ads?**

Social media management is what you post and how your accounts are looked after day to day. Meta Ads is paid reach to people who do not follow you yet. They work best together: posts that do well organically often make the best ads.

**07 Who owns the accounts?**

You do. The accounts, the logins, the content and the follower history stay in your name. Lucent is given access to manage them and that access is removed when the work ends.

**08 Can you promise more followers or sales?**

No. Nobody honest can. What you get is consistent, well-made posting, replies that do not go unanswered, and a monthly report on what actually reached the business.

**09 How do you report on it?**

A short monthly summary: what went out, what people engaged with, the messages and enquiries that came through, and what changes next month. Follower counts on their own are not the report.

**10 How long before it makes a difference?**

Consistency is the first change, and that is visible in the first month. Growth in reach and enquiries builds over several months of regular posting, which is why the plan is reviewed every month rather than judged on one post.
